Description:

Starting with the 2002

season, lacrosse was

sanctioned as a high

school sport by the

California Interscholastic

Federation.

Effective in 2002, CIF

(California Interscholastic

Federation) is the governing

body for HS lacrosse

programs in the state

of California. There

are 10 sections of CIF

in the state, and in

Northern California

lacrosse is currently

being played in 4 of

those sections: Central

Coast Section (CCS),

North Coast Section

(NCS), North Section

and Sacramento –

San Juoquine. We are

working on the San Francisco,

Oakland, and Central

Sections.

Those who are Non-CIF

Schools, fall under

the

NCJLA (Northern California

Junior Lacrosse Association
